Available For Sale

Kid Sales Listed on the Breeding Page

We normally sell at two different times each year.  In the spring we have some kids and excess milkers. In the fall, normally August/September, we usually reduce milkers numbers again.

Please text me if you have a milker request as I keep a list of interested parties to call before I list does publicly. I give preference to buyers that take more than one milker at a time. I feel milkers settle in and transition better when moved with a herdmate.

TERMS OF SALE

These are our terms of sale.  They outline what we will do for you as the seller and what we expect from you as the buyer.  We require buyers to agree to  the Terms of Sale for each purchase.  We provide you with a copy of this document.

General:

We test annually for CAE.  We pool the raw unpasteurized milk from CAE negative does to feed to kids because we believe it provides better nutrition for growing kids. We are not opposed to western medicine; as such we give vaccinations and administer non-herbal dewormer based on fecal worm counts.  We will not sell a single goat to a buyer that does not have other goats.

Reservations:

If you would like to reserve a kid, we require a deposit of $100 per kid ordered.  Reservations are made based on the order in which deposits are received. A reservation is not made until we receive your deposit.

Payment:

A non-refundable deposit of 50% of the purchase price will hold the animal (adult or kid already on the ground) for 30 days while shipping arrangements and payments are worked out.  Shipping costs, health certificates, and tests are the responsibility of the buyer.  All shipping costs and animals must be paid for at or before pick-up. We accept cash, CashApp, PayPal, Venmo, ApplePay, Zelle, and credit cards all in US dollars.

Receipt:

Prices quoted are for domestic (within the United States) animals that are picked up or shipped by four weeks of age for newborn kids or within 30 days for older animals. Animals that remain at the farm after 30 days are subject to a boarding fee of $5/day.

All Sales Are Final: Once the goat leaves our property, the buyer assumes full responsibility and liability for the animal. The seller is not responsible for any health issues that may occur due to the goat's new environment or improper care.

Biosecurity Measures:

To protect our herd from potential diseases, we do not accept returns of goats after they leave our property. This prevents the risk of introducing diseases the goat may have been exposed to elsewhere.

No Refunds:

Deposits are non-refundable, including if the buyer changes their mind. A full refund will be given if the goat dies while in our care prior to the contractual pickup date.

Buyer Responsibility:

The buyer is responsible for providing proper care, including health maintenance and veterinary care, for the goat after the purchase is complete.

Right to Refuse Sale:

We reserve the right to refuse a sale or release of any goat if transportation or care arrangements are deemed unsafe or inadequate (including but not limited to improper kennel size, animals tied in open truck beds, insufficient protection from weather, or poor ventilation). Animals will not be released for transport loose with non-herdmates unless appropriate dividers or separation are in place; transport with known herdmates is acceptable. Breeding-age bucks and does will not be released for transport together in a shared space under any circumstances.

Air Shipping:

If you do not have ground transportation we can make the necessary airline arrangements to ship your kid to you out of the Savannah, GA (SAV) airport. All air shipping costs, including health papers, shipping crate and shipping fees are to be paid by the buyer prior to time of shipping and are in addition to the advertised price.  Adult animals are not eligible for air shipment.

International Sales:

International sales are considered on a per case basis only and due to the extra time and work involved, extra expenses will incur

Guarantee:

Any dairy goat offered for sale, except those designated as wethers, is registered/recorded or eligible for registration/recordation. At the time of sale the goat shall be permanently identified and will meet the identification requirements for interstate or intrastate transportation applicable to the sale. Registration/recordation papers, stamped duplicates, or application for registration/recordation will be provided by us at the time of sale. The seller guarantees the fertility of the buck. A buck, after reaching 1 year of age, should be able to serve and settle a doe. The buyer is expected to provide reasonable care and feed. Should the buck prove to be a non-breeder, the buyer shall notify the seller within 60 days from the first time he was used for service, provided the animal was over 1 year of age at the time of service; and the buyer shall provide sufficient proof, such as a statement from a veterinarian, that said buck is sterile. The seller shall have the option of making a satisfactory exchange or refunding the money. In no case shall the seller be responsible for more than the selling price. If a refund is issued, the buyer must surrender the registration papers for the refunded animal to the seller. The purchaser shall pay any shipping charges involved in the exchange. If the animal sold is a doe, there is no guarantee of fertility except where hermaphroditism becomes apparent when the animal reaches breeding age. A doe sold as “bred” is not guaranteed to be pregnant, but only to have normally accepted service from the buck.
